The Sardine Skeliiiton is the little workhorse of the Skeliiiton range of knives. It is at home in the kitchen as a utility knife, in the bush as a small hunting or skinning knife and have even found its way into commercial kitchens as that go-to knife for professional chefs.

The little Sardine Skeliiiton has quite a history. It is a 2/3 version of the infamous “Harry Wolhuter lion killer knife”. A knife that a game ranger killed a lion with. From the first time Jean Wilke made this knife, it was a hit. He has made one for the founder of this old school as a 70^th birthday present. For his mentor that gave the knife one look and ordered one. To a special friend that did a large part of her chef studies armed with “her little helper”.

The knife is so incredibly light and thin and sharp that it is used (and abused) for far more than originally planned. The slim, thin blade, with a 150mm hollow grind and paper-thin edge makes cutting a pleasure. From skinning a buck, cutting biltong or general kitchen work, you will thank Jean Wilke and Fire goby forge for this wonderful little knife.

The ambidextrous sheath (left or right carry) is made from 1.5mm Kydex, hot shaped to fit the knife like a glove, with the knife "clicking" into place. Yes, you can ride your horse and it will not fall out, until you decide to cut ...everything...
The belt clip is quick release making taking it off an putting it back simple. By changing the position of 2 screws you can swap from a vertical to horizontal carry.
